Swordfish Sprint Club (SWRD) started with a vision, to build a community around sprint swimming for competitive and recreational athletes of all ages. We believe there is a certain "magic" about the sprint events, and we want to share our sprint-based training approach with those who love the thrill of the sprint events.

In 2025, we joined the Masters Swimming Association of British Columbia (MSABC), becoming an affiliate member of Swim BC and Swimming Canada.  We host sanctioned practices at Hyde Creek Recreation Centre, and our members are eligible to compete in regional, provincial, and national swim meets throughout the season. 

Our club goals are to:

1. Foster and promote an inclusive, enjoyable, and supportive community centered around the excitement of sprint swimming.

2. Inspire a lifelong love for sport and exercise through structured programs for the competitive and recreational athlete.
